Using a Web3 Wallet | Minting & Selling NFTs | Buying NFTs | About NFTs | FAQs
Once you create your Dispo.market member account, you’ll want to make sure you have a Web3 wallet that will allow you to sign, accept and pay for transactions. We recommend installing MetaMask wallet, a popular free download. NOTE: MetaMask works best on Chrome browser.
When your wallet app is installed, and you have created a blockchain account, you will see your wallet active in the top-right corner of your screen.
Any transaction (buy/sell/pay) requires your wallet to sign and authenticate the transaction. Our site will automatically activate your wallet window when its time to sign or pay. You save time and reduce the amount of times you have to authenticate by syncing your wallet to your profile in the Settings Tab.
“Minting” an NFT is the process of publishing it on a public blockchain using a smart contract. Our website allows you to use our contract and public storage accounts for a small fee and requires very little tech knowledge to use! All you need is a piece of digital art.
Step 1) Log in to your Dispo.market account, go to the NFTs tab, and interact with the “Publish NFT” button.
Step 2) Fill out your artwork’s details, upload the image file, and select your blockchain. You can also request to have your artwork curated into one of our 3D interactive art galleries.
Step 3) Press the “Mint Artwork” button to publish your artwork on the blockchain. Be sure to STAY THERE! Your transaction will be signed, approved and confirmed using your wallet which will open automatically.
Step 4) Verify your blockchain receipt and press “Publish” to add your artwork to our store.
You can purchase any NFT for sale in our NFT Stores and 3D Galleries using your Web3 wallet and either Ethereum ETH or Polygon MATIC. We recommend purchasing crypto currency on a known exchange like Crypto.com or CoinBase.
Step 1) Make sure you have the proper coin balance in your wallet, and press “Purchase” on any available art piece in our NFT Store or 3D gallery rooms.
Step 2) Our store will automatically interact with your wallet to authenticate the purchase and collect the payment.
Step 3) Verify your purchase at any time by entering your purchase transaction ID (TXN) by using a blockchain scanner like Etherscan or PolygonScan.
Step 4) You can view your NFTs by using a Portfolio Dapp or scanner site. We recommend: https://portfolio.metamask.io/
NFT stands for non-fungible token. NFTs prove ownership of a unique digital asset like art, music, collectibles, videos or anything else using blockchain technology.
When you buy an NFT you are not necessarily buying an item itself; NFTs are like a signature for digital items. They authenticate ownership of digital assets like art, collectibles, music, videos, virtual clothing, and more. Just like physical certificates, they document:
NFTs often also contain meta data that gives specific details about the art, collectible, music or utility.
All of this is public via a blockchain, so anyone can trace each of your NFTs from the original creator all the way to your wallet—and verify its authenticity.
A blockchain is a network of computers that track transactions in their network and generate a giant ledger of who owns what (and how much of it).
Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data. The timestamp proves that the transaction data existed when the block was created.
Since each block contains information about the previous block, they effectively form a chain, with each additional block linking to the ones before it.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible in that, once they are recorded, the data in any given block cannot be altered retroactively without altering all subsequent blocks.
Our NFTs are published on these blockchains:
